Southern Adelaide Palliative Service. Laurel Hospice

Thanks so much for supporting the work of Southern Adelaide Palliative Service.

Laurel Hospice is a short-stay palliative care inpatient unit located on the top floor of the Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Building at Flinders Medical Centre.

The Laurel Hospice team are a group of nurses, doctors, social workers, administration, volunteers and other allied health professionals who provide a specialist palliative care service for patients with complex life-limiting conditions in southern Adelaide.

Your donations give support to activities that enhance the care of patients and their families, including:

• Art therapy
• Pet therapy
• Music therapy
• Complementary therapies like massage, yoga and reflexology

Your support enables a vibrant group of volunteers to support patients in Laurel Hospice and in the community which is highly valued by our patients and their families.

Your donations also help us improve and expand patients’ experiences at end-of-life through essential palliative care services, research, advocacy and education.
