National Palliative Care Week was a great opportunity to acknowledge and say thank you to our hard-working and passionate palliative care teams across Adelaide.
The tireless work they do in providing comfort and support to patients and families at such a tough time is so greatly appreciated.
The team attended events at Laurel Hospice, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Modbury Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
Our Supporter Engagement Manager Jo Overbeek said: “It was such a privilege to offer this ‘sacred pause’ for all staff to celebrate the wonderful work they do with patients and their families.”
