It was an incredible effort on Thursday 6 June, where $517,046 was raised to improve healthcare and patient services in the community.
Together, as part of The Hospital Research Foundation Group, our staff, volunteers and ambassadors joined in to raise the funds.
Our valued supporters Lucy Cornes and Annaliese Holland contributed immensely, calling friends, family, colleagues and our community who all contributed to smashing our fundraising goal.
Thank you to everyone who was involved – it was such a special day raising funds for those who need it most.
SAPS raised $5,322 for Giving Day
We’re so thrilled with the support from Southern Adelaide Palliative Services (SAPS) who raised $5,322 for Giving Day!
Their fundraising efforts will ensure we can continue vital services within Laurel Hospice and our extensive research aimed at improving access to palliative care for vulnerable communities. Thank you SAPS!
A visit from our favourite miniature horses

(L-R) THRF Goup’s Jess, Robyn and Amy with Jacquie and Moet.
We were lucky enough to have Nolton Park: Horses Healing Hearts visit on Giving Day!
Jacquie Jenkins stopped into our Woodville office with miniature horse Moet, providing a much-needed morale boost for volunteers.
Moet’s gentle presence quickly won over everyone’s hearts, and our staff and volunteers enjoyed a joyful interaction in between raising funds.
“Having Moet here was a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness and connection. It really lifted everyone’s spirits for the last part of the day,” said THRF Group Chief Executive Paul Flynn.
