Together, as part of The Hospital Research Foundation Group, we raised $520,517 to improve healthcare and patient services in our community.

Throughout Giving Day, our staff, volunteers and ambassadors like Lucy Cornes joined in on the fun at our Woodville office by jumping on the phones to call on their friends, family, colleagues and our community to join us in raising essential funds to support our loved ones needing palliative care.

Thanks to a generous group of supporters, we were able to double every donation!

We were grateful to have the support of volunteers like Annaliese, who has been living with life-limiting health challenges since she was 12 years old.

Annaliese Holland (pictured right next to her mum Armanda) is dedicated to leaving a legacy and raising funds for palliative care after her own experience with life-limiting illness.

Annaliese visited Giving Day to call our supporters and continue her mission to leave a legacy for other people needing palliative and hospice care.

Thanks to the support of volunteers like Annaliese, our donors and our gift-matchers, we can continue to bring our programs and services to even more South Australians after we smashed our target of $450,000 and raised 115% of our goal, receiving 1836 donations.

“Thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers and businesses that partnered with us. It’s been a magnificent day and we are making a brilliant impact in South Australia,” CEO Paul Flynn said on the day.

It’s incredible what we can achieve when we work together! Thank you for your support on Giving Day.
